Twinsburg, OH – November 17, 2025 – The Twinsburg community is in shock following the tragic death of 14-year-old London Brown, a ninth grade student at Twinsburg High School, who was shot over the weekend in a wooded area near the school. The 15-year-old suspect has been charged with murder in connection with her death, and the case has saddened family, friends and the entire community.
What happened
The tragedy began Saturday morning when London’s relatives contacted authorities after they learned she had left their home with a gun. Law enforcement immediately began searching for the teen. At approximately 12:36 p.m., a report of shots fired near White Oaks Drive led officers to a wooded area northwest of Twinsburg High School, where London’s body was found. Despite efforts by first responders to render aid to him, he was pronounced dead at the scene due to gunshot wounds.
