Colerain Township, OH – November 17, 2025 – The Colerain Township community is mourning the tragic loss of 70-year-old Barbara Wooten, who succumbed to her injuries following a head-on collision Monday evening. The devastating accident happened on Pippin Road at around 7.30pm, causing the roadway to be temporarily closed while emergency services worked to manage the situation.

Barbara Wooten was seriously injured in the crash and was immediately taken to Mercy West Hospital, according to Colerain Township police spokeswoman Helen Tracy-Noren. Unfortunately, he was declared dead soon after reaching the hospital.

Two other people involved in the accident were also taken to hospital. However, their terms have not been publicly disclosed at this time.
