The accident on County Road 51, just outside Martal of Mississippi, claimed Edilin’s life and seriously injured two adults. According to Union County Coronor Palm Boman, Edilin was declared dead in the accident scene. “She was a warmth about her who made people feel comfortable,” said Smt Valerie Shaw, a 6th grade teacher of Adillin. “His laughter could fill a room, and he made friends wherever he went.” It is clear from a tribute to one of the classmates, teachers, and family members that Edilin’s personality was bright as his smile. He was a kind of child who brought positivity to all.
Outside school, Edilin was known for the time spent with his passion to play his love, softball and his cousin and younger brothers and siblings. She used to dream of becoming a veterinarian one day, and she was already known in her neighborhood to take care of stray pets and injured animals. Whatever he had done his compassion was clear in it.
“She was such a kind soul,” said her aunt, Megan Robins. “She loved so deeply and her whole life was ahead of her. We are struggling to understand how this happened.”
