John Dysangro Fairless Hills Obetteri – John Dissangro, a reliable confidant of the hall of fame coach John Channi and a rear scenes in Philadelphia Sports Broadcasting, died on Thursday due to a heart attack at his home in Fairless Hills. He was 60 years old.

In the recognition of his dedication, the temple included him in the Basketball Ring of Honor in 2017.

“Channi took John under his wing,” said his brother, Steve Dissangro. “He was like a son for him. His relationship was incredible.”

Mr. Dissangro helped guide the temple for the performance of 17 NCAA tournaments and five trips in Elite Eight. When Channi retired in 2006, Mr. Dissangro made an infection for broadcasting, which became an associate manufacturer for Phillies telecast with Comcast Sportsnet. He handled the graphics, directed the Trivia segment, and traveled with the team in 2008, earning the World Series Ring.

“He was the boy, when you needed to do something, he was the man who fulfilled it,” said Philise Broadcaster Tom Macarthi.

Known as “Gaya” with love, Mr. Dissangro was famous for his humility and unwavering work morality. Whether it was reliable, careful and kind to review the lottery tickets for coach Channi or ensure the right state.

“He was like a bass player in a rock band,” John Slobotkin said, who hired him to build the Philips game. “You can’t notice him, but everything worked because of him.”
