Colesville, NY- In a case that has frightened the community and shake the foundation of what the love and new beginnings should be, 26-year-old Patrick Proefiedt will spend 25 years sentence in jail for the brutal murder of his newborn daughter, Ellenor Praphrid, and attempted murder of his wife, Destiny Profrid.

Patrick accepted the landing of a broadhead crossbow bolt in Destiny during her violent argument inside her COLESVILLE house in June 2023. The razor-witted bolt pierced Ellenor through the small body, hit him in the torso and got out through it before killing the Destiny in the chest. Baby Ellenor was immediately killed. Destiny, although seriously injured, survived.

On Friday, Broom County Court Judge Joseph Kavale sentenced and attempted murder for a second degree killing, condemning the functions of the profession as “inhuman” and “irreparablely devastating”.

“It was not a moment of madness,” Judge Kavale strictly said. “It was a work of intentional, intimate violence. Patrick’s promotion destroyed his family in a masseurous manner.”

A calculation of domestic terror act

On June 26, 2023, tragic incidents came to light after 5:15 am, when the depot of Brum County Sheriff responded to the couple’s house after a chilling 911 call. Investigators say the argument between Patrick and Destiny increased to fatal violence when Patrick retrieved a crossbow and opened fire on his wife without hesitation.

Destiny credited Baby Allenor in her arms, Bolt tore through the baby before embedding in the chest of the Destiny. Despite her wounds, Destiny tried to call for help. Patrick then tried to pull the bolt from his body and a red dodge Ram Rama physically stopped him from reaching his phone before running away from home.

Deputies began an immediate discovery and found the patrical proefiedt within hours. His truck was trapped in mud in less than a mile from the house, and when he was taken into custody, he hid in a nearby forest.

The office of the Broome County Sheriff confirmed that Patrick had a documented history of domestic violence, and the former threats against Destiny had raised red flags that were tragically ended in their child’s death.

Allenor’s death revives through the community

The assassination of Baby Ellenor Profid left a wound not only in her mother’s heart but also in the Kolsville community. The horror behind closed doors, described by neighbors as a cool family, also shocked experienced investigators.

Shortly after the incident, in a community vigilance, dozens of candles, teddy beer and gathered with tearful prayers for Allenor. His short life – just three weeks old – was remembered with deep grief and mistrust.

Destiny Profrides, who are now survived unimaginable losses, have become a voice for people suffering from domestic violence. In a statement made through his lawyer, he mourned his daughter’s life and called for justice to save other families from equal fate.

“Ellenor was innocent. He was everything good and pure in this world,” said Destiny. “Patrick took her from me, and I will stay every day with that pain. But I survived, and I will speak for her – and for every woman who thinks she has to be silent.”

No pity for Patrick Profridge

During the punishment, District Attorney Michael Korchak “a task of evil so insensitive, it defines words.”

Korachak said, “Patrick’s Prafrid didn’t just end one life – he broke a future, leaving the mark.

Proefiedt, who showed no regrets in court, was taken into handcuffs, which was started to serve his sentence: 25 years for life – a punishment many believe that still is less than true justice for baby alenore.

The legacy of love, not afraid

As the legal chapter in this sad case is closed, Destiny focuses on the promotional healing and does not remember how she died, but who she was, but who she was – a precious, innocent child who was entitled to a full life, not a crossbow bolt.

In his memory, Destiny says that he will fight to ensure that the name of Ellenor stands as a warning, a cry for change, and unimaginable pain is a symbol of love. “Ellenor was entitled to the world,” said Destiny. “She loved anyone more, and she had a future that was stolen from him.”

Destiny’s determination has become a way to respect the change of change and give voice to those who cannot speak for themselves. The story of Ellenor makes a reminiscent of the devastating impact of domestic violence on families, and how it can change the course of life in a moment.

Although Ellenor’s life was tragically reduced, he would survive on his memory. The love, warmth and happiness in the world will never be forgotten, and his story will continue to inspire those who want and change justice in front of such tragedies.

The tasks of Patrick’s Emperor have not only looted a small child in his life, but also shattered the unit of the family that once stood as a column of support for the Destiny and their community. While the legal system has presented its decision, the actual cost of their functions cannot be measured over years. The hearts and lives of those who love Ellenor will be damaged, and their fight for justice continues as a will for the little girl, which was taken soon.

The memory of Ellenor may be as a symbol of hope, power and unbreakable resolution to fight for the safety and goodness of all children and families.
