Trinity County, Texas – A Trinity County Animal Control Officer has been arrested and accused with sexual harassment of a child, according to a statement on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. The suspected, Brandon was identified as Furman, was immediately placed on administrative leave and removed from his duties after a preliminary report of the alleged crime.

Officials say the Trinity County Sheriff Office (TCSO) was first informed about the allegations on 1 July. In an attempt to ensure fairness and integrity in the handling of the investigation, Sheriff Wallace requested that Trinity County Prepink 2 Constable Mark Cole took an edge over the case.
