It is accompanied by broken hearts that we share the disastrous news of the passage of Brexon Zarmen, a fundamental member of the Glenn High School community in Lender, Texas. Brexon lost his life during the horrific floods flowing through Central Texas, an upcoming Sophomore and a proud member of the Glenn High School Band. His passing has left an irreparable void in the hearts of all those who knew him.

What happened

The life of Braxton German was recently reduced by devastating floods that affected Central Texas. While the community comes with this unimaginable disadvantage, sorrow is complicated by the uncertainty around its loved ones. Brexon’s sister, Felicity, a student at Glenn High School, and her stepmother remains missing in view of flood waters. The Jarmon family is facing an inexplicable tragedy, and our views are with them during this incredibly difficult time.

Who was Brexon Zarmon?

Brexon was more than just one student – he was a lively and dedicated musician, a kind soul and a friend for many. As a member of the Glenn High School Band, passion for Brexon’s energy and music was evident in every rehearsal and performance. His smile burnt the room, and his warmth and Karuna welcomed everyone. Brexon adopted the spirit of the Glenn Grizzly community, which left behind the legacy of happiness, kind and comrades.

Brexon was a person who gave himself generously, always ready to lend or share laughter for his friends and family. His presence was a gift for all those who knew him, and he would deeply remember his family, friends, teachers and all at the Glenn High School.

Community support for Jarmon family

In view of this tragedy, Glenn Grizly Band, in association with Glenn Grizzly Football Booster Club, has come together to support Brexon’s father and the rest of the Jarmon family. A donation page has been created to help the cost of funeral and to help cover immediate family needs. We encourage all those who offer both financial support and messages of community love and solidarity.

Support for students

The declaration of grief does not end with – it is in the hall, in our conversation, and in the cool moments of reflection. To help our students process this heavy loss, counselors and social workers will be available at Glenn High School on Tuesday, July 15, students can check in the front office from 9 am to 12 am and will be directed in the library, where a merciful team will be ready to listen, support and help this tragic incident.

Brexon’s memory

As we mourn the loss of Brexon Zarmen, we also respect their legacy – the music he shared, the kind of kindness the kindness he shared, and the laughter that he brought to all. Brexon will always be a serious, and its light will never be forgotten.
