A heartbreaking tragedy emerged on Wednesday afternoon at the Campbell Hall School in the Studio City when a student died after a vehicle collision in the school parking.
The incident happened just before 3:10 pm, as the students were wrapping their day between the final exam week. According to Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), emergency respondents arrived soon after the accident was reported.
The student, whose identity, was not publicly out of honor for family confidentiality, was taken to a nearby hospital with his father, who was uninhabited in a confrontation. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the student succumbed to the hospital due to his injuries.
Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley traffic division is investigating the accident and confirmed that other drivers involved are on the spot and are collaborating with the authorities.
