Jacks Graton, a 34 -year -old hairstyist from Denver, was found dead on 6 June 2025 in Lakewood, Colorado after disappearance from April 15. Graton’s body was discovered in a street in an advanced state decomposition, leading to an investigation into “suspected death” by Lakewood Police Department.
Officials initially did not confirm the identity of the body, saying that the remains were in such an advanced stage of disintegration that positive identification could not be done immediately. The Lakewood Police Department said the remains seem to be an adult, but the identity was not officially confirmed at the time of search.
On Saturday, Graton’s family publicly confirmed the tragic news. His mother, Cherlin Graton-Camer shared her heartbeat on Facebook, “With a broken heart, I share the news that our beloved Jacks Graton has been found-and she is no longer with us. He is no longer with us. No words are strong enough for the grief we have. No one loves, he brought in our life soon.
A transgender woman, Graton, was known for her work as a talented hairstylist, and had a warm and careful personality that touched many people’s lives. His disadvantage has left a deep void in the community, and his family is mourning the death of someone who brought so much light in his life.
Till Saturday evening, the coroner had not yet officially confirmed the body’s identity, but Graton’s family expressed confidence that the remains were his. Lakewood Police Department has said that after completing the identity process to the coroner, they will issue more information.
