Herschel’s intimacy for outdoor reflected the essence of his character- solum, flexible and grounded. The mountains of colorado and fresh air were not only the background of their lives, but were sources of peace and inspiration. He found solitude in hiking trails, fishing by cool streams, and spent only looking at the beauty of nature in moments.
