Almonde, the city of Ontario, is mourning the unimaginable loss of one of its youngest and one of the most bright lights, Archer Lov, who died on 25 June, 2025 at just 9 years old. His death has left the community in a state of shock and deep grief, as family, friends, classmates and neighbors have tried to come up with a world that feels a little dear without his smile.
Archer was a child full of vibrancy, laughter and curiosity. With immense energy and an emotion that entered every room, he was the kind of child who felt a little warm to the world around him, a little more alive. She had a wide, joyful smile that was impossible to ignore – a smile that used to come easily and often, especially when she was doing things she loved.
And Archer loved many things. He was emotional about football, often seen running throughout the ground with fearless determination and endless enthusiasm. He had a big dream – his biggest wish was to become a professional football player one day. He praised the players, practiced his tricks, and believed that one day, he would also wear a jersey and play in front of the crowd.
He had a deep love for Pokémon, trading cards with friends, remembering the names and powers of each creature and weaving his imagination in every game. Whether struggling with Pikachu or choosing his favorite starter, Pokémon gave Archer a world in which he could dream, investigate and make it. He was in love with the adventure, and Pokémon gave him a window in a universe that matched with joy and wondered him that he took him inside.
One of Archer’s favorite places was out – on his bike, passed through the neighborhood with air in his hair and happiness in his heart. In those simple moments there was something magical, when he was independent, smiling, and was full of life. They also had a special love for animals, especially their beloved dogs, mousse. Both were inseparable, both quiet moments and partner in wild adventure, only one boy and his dog bound by a friendship could be known.
But above these, Archer loved his family. He was a son, a brother, a grandson, and a source of light to those who kept him closest. His love for him was deeply expressed around the neck, which he gave very independently, the laughter he brought to every room, and the way he saw the people around him with praise and faith. His family was his home, his heart and his favorite place.
The pain of losing archer is a few words that can hardly occur. A young life, so full of ability and happiness, got away very soon. The grief passes through every corner of Almontte-a close city now units in grief, remembering a boy who brought so much happiness in just nine years. In schools, in football grounds, in living rooms and backyard, their absence is felt with heart clarity.
Archer Lov was a bright spark in everyone’s life that was lucky enough to know her. Although his time was brief here, his impact would be permanent. In the dreams organized by him, the games he played, and the love he shared, leaves a legacy that will never fade.
We can always remember the little boy with big smiles, infinite energy, football dreams and kind heart.
We can take his soul forward with love.
And Archer can relax comfortably, which is surrounded by light, he gave so independently in life. Goofandme
