With heavy hearts with grief and love, the island, New York community comes together to honor the life of Brandon Jimmy Pino, who died on 12 June, 2025 at just 17 years old. Although his time was brief from the heart, Brandon’s energy, kindness and vibrant soul left a deep and permanent impression on the lives of those who were lucky to know him.
Brandon was known for its bright smile, immense curiosity and the ability to bring heat into any room. Whether surrounded by classmates, cheering friends, or spending time with family, he welcomed, seen, seen and carried out. His presence was ground, his laughter infectious, and his heart was real.
He is lovingly remembered by family and friends, who nurtured the moments shared with him – filled with happiness, encouragement and connection. Brandon’s legacy is one of light and love, one reminds how a young life can affect many through the kind of kindness and small acts of bold manifestations of being completely alive.
A journey will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, followed by a mass of Christian burial and burial services on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Those who knew and loved Brandon are invited to gather in memory, celebrate their lives, and to find consolation in each other because they respect the joy brought into the world.
Although the world feels calm without its laughter, Brandon lives on the soul of Jimmy Pino – nurtured memories, carried love forward, and the light he left in every heart, he touched.
