It is accompanied by intensive sadness and heartbreak that we announce the passage of one of our beloved students, 15 -year -old Cooper Hill. Cooper died on Friday, June 20, leaving a wave of grief flowing through the Li Academy and the wider Mariana community. This disadvantage is deeply felt by all those who knew him and loved him, because he was much more than just a student – he was a nutritious part of our life, someone whose appearance brought heat, happiness and kindness.

Cooper was a young man who burnt a room with his smile and bright spirit. Known for his easy nature, real heart and acceptable conduct, he felt everyone like a friend. His ability to see the people around them and feel valuable was a gift, and this is one who will be remembered by all those who had the privilege to know. Whether in the Hallway of Lee Academy, on the basketball court, or simply spending time with his friends, the warmth and kindness of Cooper radiated through what he had done.

For his colleagues, Cooper was a loyal friend, always there when someone needed him. He was a kind of friend who never hesitated to offer a hand or hearing ear. His humor and friendly spirit made him a person who changed others, whether he was looking for advice, comfort, or just a good laughter.
