Baldwin Park police officer Samuel Rivaros had traded a few moments before losing his life in the line of duty, he was identified by heartbroken loved ones as 43 -year -old Darius Wong.
A shocking sequence of events appeared on Saturday evening in the 4200 blocks of Philharyt Avenue, where Darius was attending a family housewife party. Darius Wong, a father, friend and beloved member of his community, were in Baldwin Park, to celebrate a joyful milestone with relatives who recently moved to their new home.
Laughter and filled together in the evening. Instead, it ended in immense grief. Officials alleged that 22-year-old Eduardo Roberto Madina-Berman shot and killed Darius shortly before he set fire to police officers.
Although the exact purpose behind the shooting is under investigation, it shake an entire neighborhood and changed two families forever.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department, the initial 911 calls from the local residents reported the first shooting, which brought officer Rivaros and fellow officer Anthony Pentail to the spot.
