Four adult siblings have filed a lawsuit against the estate of Michael Jackson, accusing the late pop icon of sexually abusing them as children. The shocking allegations, revealed on February 25, include claims that Jackson used his wealth, fame and network of employees to manipulate and groom the siblings over a long period of time.

In the 23-page complaint, siblings Edward, Dominique, Marie-Nicole and Aldo Cascio allege that Jackson’s abuse began when they were very young, with the singer allegedly using gifts, affection and promises of success in the entertainment industry to control them. The siblings say they met Jackson in 1984, when their father was managing a luxury hotel in New York where the musician frequently stayed. What allegedly started as a friendship turned into a disturbing pattern of molestation and sexual abuse.

Aldo Cascio, now 35, shared some of the most graphic details in the complaint. He described an incident when he was just 7 years old, recalling how Jackson allegedly took advantage of him while he was playing with his Game Boy. Aldo says that Jackson performed a sexual act on him and later claims that he expressed his love in the same way. “It was Michael. I know Michael, I know he loves me, and I love him,” Aldo recalled.

The siblings also detailed a pattern of abuse that had continued over the years. She claims that Jackson took advantage of her weakness by using intimidation and threats to ensure her silence. In a disturbing article, Aldo alleged that Jackson groomed him by instructing him to lie and protect him, and said that people who questioned their relationship would want to hurt him. The siblings also alleged that Jackson introduced them to drugs and alcohol, including giving Aldo Xanax and alcohol while portraying himself as a “creepy monster”.

The lawsuit names several locations where the alleged abuse occurred, including Jackson’s Neverland Ranch in California, international travel stops during Jackson’s tours, and the Cascio family home. The abuse is said to have taken place in various countries including France, Britain and Bahrain. The siblings claim Jackson also attempted to attack one of them in Bahrain.

Mary-Nicole Cascio revealed that Jackson lived with the family for several months after the 9/11 attacks in 2001, during which she alleges he began abusing her. The lawsuit claims that Jackson manipulated her into taking off her clothes, and insisted that “it is normal for men and women to be naked.”

The family’s petition paints a heartbreaking picture of years of suffering, with siblings describing the emotional and psychological impact of the abuse. Aldo, who expressed a feeling of “relief” upon learning of Jackson’s death in 2009, recalled how the abuse led him to contemplate suicide. He said, “Since middle school, it introduced me to hell and my demons.”

The complaint also claims that the Cascio siblings had previously defended Jackson, but were allegedly threatened with legal action if they spoke out. Their story has now come to light as part of their ongoing fight for justice, and they are seeking compensation from Jackson’s estate for the alleged trauma.

The estate of Michael Jackson, which has been the subject of several lawsuits over the years, has denied the allegations. Lawyers for the estate have described the lawsuit as a “money grab” and have questioned the veracity of the claims, especially considering the Cascio family’s previous public statements defending Jackson’s innocence.

As this legal battle unfolds, the brother-sister case highlights the broader issue of abuse in the entertainment industry and the ongoing struggle of survivors of sexual violence. It also raises questions about how power dynamics and fame can be exploited to manipulate vulnerable individuals.
