The Dyersburg community is deeply mourning the unexpected and tragic loss of a beloved husband, father, brother and friend, who suddenly passed away at the age of 55.

Born in Diyrusberg and raised, Gerry was a proud Tennessee, whose roots were deep inside their hometown. He was widely known for his down-to-back spirit, infectious smile and the ability to illuminate any room. The lucky people were ready for their real kind and acceptable nature to cross the path with Gery.

Family, friendship and community were corners of gery’s life. His sudden departure has left a void that will be deeply felt in Diyrusberg and surrounding areas. Garry’s commitment he loved and carried on him was clear in all aspects of his life. He was a dedicated husband, who stood through a thick and thin, a loving father by his partner, who was happy with his children, an assistant brother and a true friend for many people.

The approach to Gery’s hands for life was reflected in the desire to help others. Whether he is helping a neighbor with a dripping roof, sharing laughter with friends, or lending to a hearing ear during difficult times, he gave selflessness and without any hesitation.
