Rivaruside County, CA – Hemet, a violent change in the unirrigated area of California, one person has been admitted to the hospital and the other is facing allegations of serious hooliganism, behind bars. Officials of the Rivaraside County Sheriff Office have confirmed that a 30 -year -old Hemat, a 30 -year -old Hemat, known as Roman Neli, was arrested for murder and attack with a deadly weapon after a stabbing incident on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
The incident began around 3:06 pm when the depot of Hemat and San Jento Sheriff stations was sent to 45000 blocks of highway 74 in response to the 911 call about an attack with a deadly weapon. On reaching the spot, an adult male victims were located in duty located, who maintained injuries to suit a knife wound.
Despite the severity of the situation, the victim was conscious and was able to talk with duties, identifying the suspect as Roman Neli. The victim’s name has not been released, but the authorities confirmed that he was taken to the local hospital for treatment. Thankfully, his injuries were considered non-life-dhmaki, and they are expected to recover.
After the victim’s statement, the depot quickly located Roman Nelli and took into custody without any incident. The investigators of the Hemet station were immediately assigned to the case and started a comprehensive investigation.
A search warrant was later executed at Neli’s residence. Inside, investigators recovered physical evidence, it is believed to be linked to stabbing. While the exact nature of the evidence has not been disclosed – determining further investigation – the authorities say it supports the allegations against Neli.

The Rivaraside County Sheriff Office has clarified that the investigation is active and running. There is no information about the purpose, relationship between suspect and victim, or leading incidents for attack.

While law enforcement has said that there is no current threat to public safety, the stabbing has left many in the community, especially in view of its occurrence in a wider day light with a well -tried section of highway 74.
“It’s terrible,” said a local resident. “You drive on that road every day and never expect something like this. I am just grateful that the victim is going to make it and he caught the boy quickly.”
This stretch of highway 74 – sometimes referred to as “Pines to Pames Highway” locally – it is a major route that connects the Hemet Valley to Idilwild and San Jacinto mountain areas. The region is dotted with residential communities, small businesses and mobile home parks, making it a frequent residing place by locals and travelers.
The incident is the latest in a series of violent incidents mentioned in some parts of Rivaruside county this year. While the law enforcement has rapidly responded in the case, the stabbing has introduced a fresh call for increased patrol appearance and community engagement to help prevent future violence.
The Rivaraside County Sheriff urges the office residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious or violent activity. Community members are encouraged to use 911 for emergency or contact their nearest Sheriff Station for non-essential concerns.
Till Friday, Roman Neli remains in custody, and the allegations are formally pending. His bail status and court date have not yet been made public.
