Born to warren and julie stewart, Hudson was the youngest of five brothers, all of whom were Accomplened Wrestlers. Growing up in Linchberg, Virginia, Hudson developed a passion for the game, inspired by the achievements of his old brothers – sisters – Zeb, Elli, Luke and Reid. At Brookville High School, Hudson gave his name as his own name in the history of wrestling, including a notable 91–8 career record, including an ideal 33–0 junior season. He became a two-time state champion, a three-time state placer, and a consistent District and Region Champion.
At Virginia Tech, Hudson Continued to Shine Despite The Setbacks of Repeated Injuries. Over four seasons with the hokies, he compiled a 43-30 record. During the 2023–24 season, his tenacity and return, where he posted a record of 8–5 and touched two major pins in the Armbar at the Armary event, imitating his flexibility and competitive spirit. Beyond his achievements on the mat, Hudson was also a dedicated student who earned a place on the ACC academic honor role as a sociology head.
Hudson’s life was rich in experience beyond athlet. He spent summers in north cyprus and also lived in kazakhstan, experiences that broadened his world and deepened his compassion. His participation with athletes in action allowed him to wrestle internationally in Eastern Europe, where he created permanent friendship and took his confidence and sportsmanship to a global stage.
Although his sudden death has not been caused publicly, the disadvantage of Hudson Stewart has left a deep zero in the hearts of his family, friends and full Hoki community. He will be remembered not just for his acceptsments, but for the kindness, courage, and purpose with which he lived.
