Around 9:55 pm, several 911 calls reported a serious accident, including a motorcycle and a vehicle. The emergency respondent of the Marion County reached the spot fast, where they discovered a heavy damaged motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.
The motor cycle driver, Vadle, was seriously injured and rushed to Salem Hospital, where he later succumbed due to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and fully collaborated with the authorities. A passenger suffered injuries in the car and was also taken to the hospital for treatment. His situation has not yet been publicly disclosed.
The Marion County Crash team was sent to conduct a comprehensive investigation. According to preliminary findings, investigators believe that the motorcycle was traveling north on the Lancaster Drive just before the collision.
Till Friday morning, no arrests have been made regarding the accident, and the authorities have not indicated whether the allegations are being considered. Investigation is on.
The office of the Marion County Sheriff said in a statement, “We expand our deep sympathy to JC Wadle’s family and people affected by this disastrous incident.”
The response attempt included the support of the Marion County Fire District, Marion County District Attorney Office, Public Works and Wilmet Valley Communications Center.
