Maxwell Anderson sentenced to Sade Robinson’s assassination and disintegration – On Friday, Milwauki jury found Maxwell Anderson guilty of brutal murder and disintegration of 19 -year -old college student Sade Robinson. The crime in April 2024 shook the local community and brought it to light chilling details about an innocent first date ending in the tragedy.
Anderson was convicted on four allegations: first-degree murder, a corpse, destroying arson, and hiding a corpse. The prosecutors presented a disturbing timeline of the incidents leading to Robinson’s death, which began with his meeting in a week before the deadly night. Along with the cellphone records, monitoring footage revealed that Anderson and Robinson spent two separate times before returning to Anderson’s apartment to drink late 1 April, late afternoon and evening of April 1, 2024.
Assistant District Attorney Ian Vance-Kurzan portrayed a serious picture of what he did in his closing arguments, in his closing arguments. She showed pictures of gamblers from Anderson’s phone, in which Anderson portrayed Robinson while faint on her couch. The prosecutor said Robinson was disabled at that time, unable to oppose Anderson’s advances. It was central for the case as it was suggested that the murder was done intentionally and deliberately, rather than an accident or self -defense work.
The prosecution case was further supported by monitoring footage, which left Robinson’s car and left Anderson’s apartment on the morning of 2 April. The vehicle was then seen reaching a county park on the banks of the Lake Michigan. There, under the cover of darkness, Anderson allegedly destroyed Robinson’s body. The remains were scattered in the county, and Anderson later burnt Robinson’s car behind a abandoned building to cover the evidence.
However, Raksha offered a different story. Anderson’s lawyer, Tony Cotton argued that the prosecution failed to provide sufficient evidence that Anderson intended to kill Robinson. Cotton questioned whether there was any physical evidence of the struggle in Anderson’s apartment, stating that no one had heard any disturbance that night. Additionally, he claimed that Anderson was not seen trying to hide his identity, as is clear from the fact that he was accused in a bus to return to his apartment despite a serious crime.
In a statement to the press, cotton accepted the difficulty of the case for gamblers and expressed respect for their ideas. However, the jury eventually biased with the prosecution, found Anderson guilty in all cases.
The case has raised questions about the cold reality of violence under normal circumstances. The intended to be a simple first date between two strangers ending in a tragic and frightening crime. Anderson’s actions that night have left a permanent impact on Robinson’s family, friends and community.
Anderson now faces a mandatory life imprisonment in jail, with the prescribed punishment for August 15, 2025. His punishment marks the conclusion of a rigorous chapter in a case that has attracted national attention, the dangers of domestic violence and seem to highlight the cruel consequences of inconsistent encounters.
