In a show of solidarity, members of the Madres group crossed into the United States to join the search, while others focused their efforts on the border city of Nogales. However, despite his willingness to help, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department declined his request to conduct a field search in Arizona, stating that the work should be left to professionals. Nevertheless, the group’s founder Cecilia Flores reaffirmed their commitment, saying, “We are here to assist in any way we can. Nancy is a mother who deserves to be reunited with her family.”

As the search enters its fourth week, Savannah Guthrie spoke emotionally about the uncertainty surrounding her mother’s disappearance. “For all we know, she could be lost, she’s already gone,” Savannah said in a video posted Feb. 24.

To encourage tips and clues, the Guthrie family is offering a $1 million reward for information leading to Nancy’s recovery, with the FBI adding an additional $100,000. As the search continues, the community and the Guthrie family are holding on to hope, looking for solutions and answers in this heartbreaking case.
