The Bib County Sheriff Office is actively searching for 18 -year -old Nicholas Floid, wanted in relation to a series of violent crimes on Tuesday, including a woman, arson and a minor kidnapping. Officials are warning the public that Floid is considered armed and dangerous.
What happened
On Tuesday, Nicolas Floid shot a 52 -year -old woman in the West Macon region, especially in 1700 blocks of Maden Avenue. Police reached the spot to find a woman suffering from a gun bullet, and was quickly taken to a local hospital where she is currently in a stable position.
Apart from shooting, Floid set fire to a house before escaping from the scene. Officials say Floid then took a 12 -year -old child and stopped himself inside a residence on the Samarhill drive in Macon. The Bib County Sheriff Office responded with a SWAT team that successfully entered the house, saved the child, and returned the minor to his family.
Floid managed to avoid this scene when the SWAT team entered and is currently on run. Sheriff’s office is warning the public that if they present it, it is considered armed and dangerous.
