With irreversible sadness, the Pulski County community stops to honor life and mourns the sudden passing of Dennis Gradon, which was taken from us very soon after a two-marriage collision on July 2, 2025. Dennis was only 43 years old, but the influence around her was around her. Dennis was a kind of person who entered every room. Born in 1981, she had a vibrant feeling that she went wherever she went – from school hallways and church meetings to neighborhood cookouts and office corridors. Friends often commented that his laughter could change a room temperature. She never met a stranger and always found a way to join people, irrespective of her background or story. His real interest in others saw everyone valuable and seen. Whether she was working voluntarily on the local food drive, she was cheering from the edge of a youthful game, or just offering a hearing ear after a long day, Dennis gave her time and her heart without any hesitation.
Denis’s commitment to others was a thread that passed through every aspect of her life. She was known for her selflessness and the ability to keep others first, no matter what the situation. If there was any need in the community, Dennis was to complete it – quintley and without pomp. He organized a coat drive for the needy people, wrote incentive cards to the residents in senior houses, and donated to animal shelters. Dennis always kept a stand of additional pen for someone needy and was known to mention the new fare. He should stay home for sick colleagues, celebrate every small victory, and created a warm and welcome atmosphere in the workplace. Dennis was not just a colleague – he was a stable source of support for a friend, a mentor and all working with him.
Dennis’s friendship was deep and permanent. He had a gift for people to feel loving and valuable, and he cultivated relationships that stood on the test of time. From spontaneous road trips to quiet evenings, spent sharing stories on the porch, Dennis’s friendship was real, loyal and loaded. She had a unique ability to remember people’s favorite songs and would recite them of difficult days songs. Her small acts of kindness created a wave effect of warmth and positivity in the lives of those that she cared for. Dennis felt, seen, and loved the people around her, and her absence leaves an irreparable zero.
The incidents of July 2 changed everything for Dennis’ family, friends and Pulski County community. In that horrific afternoon, Dennis was driving his 2013 Toyota Rav4 when it was killed by another vehicle in Pulski County. Despite the rapid response to the first respondents and medical personnel, Dennis succumbed to an accident injuries. His sudden passing has given up his family, friends and colleagues to deal with mistrust and sorrow. The news of his death has been revived throughout the community, as the residents have struggled to come up with the loss of such a dear and vibrant figure. The shock and heart that broke after the accident is still deeply felt by all of them who knew him.
In the days after the tragedy, the Pulski County city has come together in support of Dennis’s family. The flag is flown in half staff, and flowers and handwritten messages have appeared outside the Eastland Community Center, where there is a plans for a candle light to honor Dennis’s memory. Local clergy members have opened their doors to provide prayer services and grief counseling, and community leaders have supported the family during this difficult time. The funeral will be visited from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 10 on 10 July.
