Although his time with us was tragically cut short, the impact of his kindness, warmth and compassion will always be felt.

Julia Gail ZabielaDied peacefully at Les Bourges Hospice at the age of 59 26 November 2025After a short but brave fight with the disease. Julia’s passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends and the entire Les Coutils and Guernsey community. His courage throughout his illness, combined with his lifelong generosity and decency, leaves a powerful testament to his character and the love he shared with those around him.
Who was Julia Gail Zabiela?
Julia was more than just a resident of Les Coutils – she was a beacon of light, comfort and compassion to all she met. Known for her gentle nature and generous heart, Julia continued to offer her time, love and knowledge to support others without hesitation. His ability to bring warmth to any room, listen patiently, and treat everyone with integrity endeared him to many.
To her family, Julia was a devoted and loving presence. She managed her relationships with care, patience and unwavering dedication. His laughter, guidance and loving spirit created lasting memories that will last for generations.
