A tragic work of violence has left the Cliftton Park community in shock after the death of 20 -year -old Simon Brot, which was badly stabbed on Saturday, May 31, 2025.

The incident occurred on Beresford Road, which is usually a quiet residential area, where the Depot of the Shartoga County Sheriff Office responded to a crisis call that included a stabbing.

On arrival, emergency respondents found Simon Brolat suffering from several stabbing wounds. He was taken to Albani Medical Center, where doctors attempted life -saving surgery.

Despite his efforts, Brolat died due to his injuries. The news of his passing was completely spread to the Saratoga county community, which broke the family, friends, and neighbors.

Sheriff’s depot started an immediate investigation, due to which the 18 -year -old Zaden A. quickly. ILLEFONSO was arrested. Officials confirmed that ILLEFONSO was relatives of Brolt, although the exact nature of their relationship has not been made public.

On Sunday, ILLDONS was formally accused of murder and argued before Judge Robert Rybak in Cliftton Park Town Court. Since then, he has been sent to the SATOGA County Jail, where he is waiting for more legal proceedings.

Savatoga County Sheriff Michael Zuralo issued a heartfelt statement after his arrest, expressing condolences to the Brolat family. “My heart is heavy for the Bronte family, and they are in my thoughts and prayers,” Sheriff Zurali said.

“I hope they can find some comfort in the quick apprehension of the defendant through the untiring efforts of our road petrol and criminal investigation unit.” The murder has sent waves through the Cliftton Park community, where the residents are struggling with the shocking loss of a young man whose life was just beginning.

Simon Brolat was described by those who knew him as a kind, thoughtful and intelligent person.
