Twin City, GA-14 June, 2025-A heart-wrenching domestic tragedy has shaken the small community of Twin City to its core, as a fatal shooting claimed that 27-year-old Zaria Khadzah car and her husband, 36-year-old Shamsaskus Jamil Carr, have confirmed murder. The two young children of the couple, who are now orphans, are at the center of the growing wave of grief and anxiety because the city mourns a loss that is too heavy to bear.
A devastating night
According to the Twin City Police Department and the Imanuel County Sheriff Office, the incidents revealed around 9:30 am on Saturday, 14 June, when officials responded to 911 calls reporting a violent domestic disturbance at a residence in a 511 block. When the first respondent arrived, he discovered Zaria Carr unconscious with a clear gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save his life, he was declared dead on the spot.
Officials then discovered that her husband, Shamarkus Carr, had gunned to herself soon after the shooting of Zaria. He was also found dead inside the house.
Two minor children of the couple were inside the residence at the time of the incident. Miraculously, they were physically unfit, but now both are left without parents. They are currently in the form of child welfare services and community leaders in the care of family members, rally to provide support and stability in view of unimaginable trauma.

Friends, neighbors and colleagues described Zaria as a dedicated mother and loving daughter, who had a bright feeling and a strong desire for her children to create a better future.
