Howland Twp., Ohio – A disastrous plane crash claimed the lives of all six people on Sunday morning in Howland Township. According to local officials, no one was left.

The accident occurred at 7 am in a wooden area behind a house between Spring Run Road and King Graves Road NE, which is just a few miles from the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport. The aircraft, a cessna 441 Vijay II-a small, twin-engine turboprop-was carrying two crew members and four passengers at the time of the incident.

The emergency respondents of the Howland Fire and Police Departments quickly reached the spot, but sadly, no one survived the board. The identity of the victims has not yet been released publicly, which is a pending notification of family members.

Authorities held a press conference at Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport at 5 pm on Sunday to provide initial details. According to his statements, the aircraft left from the airport and Bozman was the route to Montana. It went down about seven minutes after takeoff.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident. Investigators are expected to check the aircraft maintenance records, pilot credentials, flight data and weather conditions at the time of the accident.

The Western Reserve Port Authority is working in coordination with federal and local agencies to assist in ongoing investigation and recovery efforts.
